Today we are meeting in Murray 117, the so-called "Smart-Classroom." Let's hope that we can live up to the name! We will be using the following website for today's class:
McCullough, Helen. "Web Research Tools." Online. Available:
http://merlin.alleg.edu/employee/h/hmccull/fs101.html.
21 September 1999.
Your assignment for today's class is to locate TWO websites on the subject of Hercules, one popular, one scholarly. Please email me the web addresses, in proper MLA bibliographic form. You should have time to complete this assignment in class, as a participation grade.
You may e-mail me the sites one at a time, as you find them, but be sure to identify which is popular and which is scholarly! Remember to include the full URL and the date you accessed the page. By the way, the page above is cited properly. If you have questions about correct form, you may also consult:
Li, X., & Crane, N. B. Electronic styles: A handbook for citing electronic
information (1996, Revised edition). Medford, NJ: Information Today.
Online. "Electronic Sources: MLA Style of Citation." Available:
