Course Evaluation

Spring 2008

In order to pass the course, students are required to complete all assignments.

10% Participation

Library exercise
Quiz
(Trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art has been cancelled due to renovations.)

Mid-term Exams

Exams include terms, slide identifications, and slide comparisons. Slide and identification tests will be non-cumulative.

20% Midterm One: Friday, February 22
20% Midterm Two: Monday, April 7

10% Writing Assignment 1

Due in class Monday, February 11th

20% Research Paper

Mar 10 Topics and preliminary bibliography due in class
Apr 21 Paper due in class

20% Final Exam (A) Monday, May 2, 9 am to noon

Terms, slide identifications and comparisons from the final third of the class. Essay questions asking you to deal more broadly with all of the course material will be distributed on the last day of class.
